“The Exhibit” collection by Walden is a true celebration of creativity and resourcefulness! Inspired by the fashion sense of the homeless and less fortunate people living in the Tenderloin area of San Francisco, Walden's daily walks through the area were like a treasure hunt for fashion inspiration. With limited resources, Walden managed to create a stunning collection that showcases the beauty of making something out of nothing. The collection was elevated to fit the runway of New York Fashion Week, proving that true inspiration can come from anywhere!

In 2019, Chokoletd introduced Colorism, a collection inspired by the urgent need to confront and dismantle the biases tied to skin tone — both within and beyond our communities.
Colorism was created to celebrate the full spectrum of melanin and to challenge the idea that beauty or worth can be measured by color. Each design in the collection reflected unity, pride, and resistance — turning fashion into a statement of equality.
Through bold expression and intentional design, Chokoletd’s Colorism reminded the world: we are not our shade — we are our story.
