My journey into fashion began in middle school, when I attended a local photoshoot that quietly changed the course of my life. Watching models walk in original designs by a local creative lit a spark in me—a fascination with how fabric, design, and storytelling could merge into something unforgettable. That moment planted the seed, and I’ve been cultivating my vision ever since.
I studied Fashion Design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California, where I sharpened my craft, explored my aesthetic, and developed a deep appreciation for both construction and concept. Now based in Macon, Georgia, I continue to grow my brand from the ground up.
Blending my love for storytelling and style, I founded CHOKOLETD (pronounced chuh-kel-ed), a brand known for its distinct, unpredictable silhouettes and details that demand a second look. Each piece is intentional—crafted to spark emotion, curiosity, and conversation.
My work spans across streetwear, avant-garde fashion, and custom dressmaking, including bridal design. I love playing with contrast: structure versus fluidity, soft versus bold, classic versus future-forward. No matter the genre, I infuse every collection with a sense of narrative—because to me, fashion is about more than clothing. It’s about creating experiences.
CHOKOLETD is rooted in one belief:
LOOKS ARE DECEIVING.

FOR THE LOVE OF DESIGNING

VDAY 2024

In 2019, Chokoletd introduced Colorism, a collection inspired by the urgent need to confront and dismantle the biases tied to skin tone — both within and beyond our communities.

Colorism was created to celebrate the full spectrum of melanin and to challenge the idea that beauty or worth can be measured by color. Each design in the collection reflected unity, pride, and resistance — turning fashion into a statement of equality.

Through bold expression and intentional design, Chokoletd’s Colorism reminded the world: we are not our shade — we are our story.
